we already know high fat diets are bad - we don't need more tests to show it. It's sad how people spend so much money on tuition for the sole purpose of maiming animals - it's like you pay-to-play - and use money as a justification for just about anything. You'd expect schools to be powerhouses of reasoning, but being the opposite - barbarity - gosh!

super important - because some people say changing one's diet can destroy their metabolism forever - and is a reason why some people don't go vegan.

I really enjoyed this interview with the lovely Robyn who I have followed keenly for several years. She is beautiful inside and out and an inspiration to people like me living with auto immune disease as well (and I also have chronic pain) considering how she is now thriving as a vegan 🫶🏻💚 even after the very difficult times she went through. Her story gives me hope that my own health can improve after hard times.

I wonder if part of it is that some people, that are WFPB, eat less food in comparison to people that are eating the SAD. It's only my observation, when I watch my friends and family. The amount of food they eat in comparison to Vegans seems to be higher. I think Dr. Fuhrman had said it was the nutrition level that has something to do with the amount of food you eat.

I have always drank a gallon of water a day, it is so healthy. Especially when you covert to a Vegan body or Raw Vegan, your body really amps up detoxing and all that needs to be flushed out. Once I became a Veg Head close to 40 yrs ago and increased my water intake I never changed, it feels good and refreshing, it is what the body actually needs!

As a researcher who digests and evaluates medical research, I must comment. The Bernard research is flawed for several reasons. First, the Sample Size of both studies was Far Too Small to be generalizable to the public at large. No honest researcher/doctor would purport to claim that results "possibility" valid for a sample Size of 250< people, could by any stretch of the scientific mind, be generalizable to the approximately 8.5 billion inhabitants of the planet. This is an outrageous claim! Secondly, there was No Control Group mentioned in either very limited study; only a small group who received Only ONE TREATMENT... that of the totally plant based diet. What about those who had a balanced diet of lean meat AND vegetables? This variable Treatment was not even addressed in either study. This limited Treatment of participants renders the results non- valid for the population in general. Finally, no consideration was given to the prior diets of those participants of either study! Anyone who has been eating a normal diet as opposed to the highly restricted plant based diet is going to show a significant change. This video sought to invalidate the Theory of Eating for Your Blood Type. If failed to do so miserably citing flaw scientific evidence/results. Based on the Studies cited, I must decline to agree with Bernard. As far as having his studies published, someone with funding and the correct connections, can do the same thing. Sadly, it is no longer a sign of rigorous, significant research. Bernard is one of the leaders of the plant based diet "group" of people. He has written a number of books on this subject, most likely lining his pockets. He has a cult like following called The Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. His followers are derived from the Elite Rich and Famous of Hollywood among others. My personal advise would be to consult with your personal physician, whom you trust, before making any radical diet changes. Your life is at stake; act accordingly!!! Researcher, Ph.D.

Companies still have the number-one goal of making more money quarter over quarter. Cheaper ingredients and more chemicals are being used to achieve this. So people don’t realize - the food is getting worse. The victims of these types of diseases will keep getting younger. I think we’re looking at the beginnings of a mass-extinction here in a few generations. Insane.

I have been going thru the same exact thing for 10+ years. I had an MRI done and it found Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis, I do believe the diet and lifestyle has a lot to do with it. I notice that when I eat less processed foods I have less pain. Im also doing my best to stop drinking alcohol. Alcohol causes the inflammation to get worse. and I saw a video on Tiktok which suggested that women try to eat based on their blood type. so I am really excited to try that along with digestive enzymes, wild yam cream and castor oil

The resident had to be closely monitored from over drinking water. Also there is an algae based Omega 3 and it's a great idea to be tested first, however. I found the daily Chia, walnuts, and flax were not enough for me.

I was not only sent home twice after experiencing 2 strokes while living in Santa Fe, NM., A Neurologist gave me a anti-viral pill when I presented with a sloughed left side of my face. They finally gave me another MRI and said the stroke showed up according to the doctors. This all occurred during a second stroke about a year from the first. My PCP sent me to an Cardiac Electrophysiologist after I complained to him that the cardiologists at Presbyterian Medical Center were doing nothing to prevent further strokes. All this time I was on a plant based diet for the prior six years. The Electrophysiologist dignosed me with a very mild A-Fib. The strokes ended up being fairly mild except for some aphasia. Even after being place on a blood thinner I did have another stroke. I went to a different hospital and was placed on a higher dose of the blood thinner. After the last stroke I moved to a lower elevation in Tucson, AZ and the doctors in Tucson raised my blood thinner dose to 20mg. I have not had another stroke going on 3 years but I still have an apprehensive feeling. Having a stroke is a horrible feeling since it felt that my brain was being eaten a way bit by bit. I attribute the mild stroke results to being plant based.. Since that time I have asked the doctors to test me for LPa (my grandfater died of a stroke), and sleep apnea (even though I was symptom free. My LPa was mildly elevated and I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. No treatment as yet for LPa except apheresis which is not offered in Tucson, and am now on a C-Pap machine at night, I hope Robyn gets tested for LPa also and does not settle that all is ok, although I certainly hope she doesn't have another stroke. Elevated LPa is not impacted by diet. There is still so much that is unknown where strokes are concerned but I will not change from my Whole foods diet because I am the healthiest I've ever been! At least according to all my labs.
